Chỉ thói quen đánh giá người chữa bệnh theo kết quả cuối cùng: ai làm sau mà bệnh khỏi thì được khen giỏi, không xét đúng sai hay công sức của những người trước. Cũng dùng rộng hơn để nói cách nhìn thiên về kết quả, dễ quy công cho người đến sau.

This refers to the tendency to judge a healer only by the final outcome: whoever treats later and happens to cure the illness is praised, regardless of the earlier doctors’ efforts or skill. More broadly, it is used for judging solely by results and giving credit to the one who comes last.
